Polarised Safety Sunglasses
Our AS/NZS1337 medium impact rated polarised safety sunglasses are a great combination of comfort, glare reduction, safety and impact protection. Not just for work, but also for any outdoor activity where a safety rated pair of polarised sunglasses adds that extra bit of re-assurance knowing that your eyes are protected - riding your bike, driving the boat, on a jet ski, or just mowing the lawn.
The lenses in our polarised safety sunglasses are made from toughened polycarbonate plastic - the lightweight, shatter-proof and impact-resistant tough stuff that is necessary for them to be fully certified for eye protection under AS/NZS1337. Our polycarbonate frames are impact resistant as well.
Being polarised, our safety lenses are also UV400 rated glare resistant (100% protection against both UVA and UVB) and have a hydrophobic inner coating to reduce fogging and condensation build-up. Being polarised also means they cut down significantly on reflected glare from water, fog, snow, glass and reflective surfaces, making for better (and safer) visibility in all conditions.
- Smoke Tinted Lens - A neutral grey tint for excellent all-round glare reduction in all lighting conditions (but especially bright direct sunlight.) and minimal colour distortion. Ideal for all water sports, offshore and coastal fishing, driving, and most outdoor activities.
- Copper Tinted Lens - Selectively filters out blue light or haze giving increased clarity and contrast, particularly on hazy days. Great where distances need to be constantly judged, like golf, tennis, or other sports requiring acute visual perception and contrast differentiation. Preferred choice for freshwater fishing.
